Riyad Mahrez signs a new three-year deal at Manchester City as the Algerian winger admits he is 'hungry to achieve more' at the Etihad after winning eight trophies under manager Pep Guardiola

Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez has penned a new three-year contract at the Etihad to commit his future until 2025.

The Algerian had one year remaining on his previous deal but City can now look forward to seeing the midfielder in action for another three seasons.

Explaining his decision to extend his contract, Mahrez said he was very happy to be at an 'incredible club', and said that even though he has enjoyed eight trophies during his four years at the club he is 'hungry to achieve more' under his manager Pep Guardiola.
