Rio Ferdinand believes that Kyle Walker is 'the only defender on the planet' who has the pace to stop Kylian Mbappe.
England could potentially face France in the quarter-finals of the World Cup and in that scenario dealing with Mbappe would undoubtedly be one of the toughest tasks for Gareth Southgate's side.
After recovering from injury, Walker made his first appearance of the tournament as he played 57 minutes in the victory over Wales.
Although Southgate started Kieran Trippier at right-back in England's first two group games, Walker will be looking to play a prominent part at the tournament.
