City are used to winning the vast majority of their games but in an unexpected turn of events they have now lost their last five successive matches across all competitions.
The latest defeat for Pep Guardiola's side came on Saturday as they lost 4-0 at home to Tottenham in the Premier League.
City were also beaten by Tottenham in the Carabao Cup last month and subsequently suffered losses against Bournemouth, Sporting and Brighton.
