Manchester City confirmed on Sunday that Taylor Harwood-Bellis has joined RSC Anderlecht on a season-long loan. He will link up with Premier League and Man City legend Vincent Kompany who’s the current head coach.
Harwood-Bellis is regarded as an ‘impressive’ defender by City but has John Stones, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake and Aymeric Laporte standing in his way of getting playing time, so the 19-year-old has moved for more playing time.
Despite not being a regular in the first-team, Harwood-Bellis is believed to have a bright future at the Etihad Stadium. He signed a four-year with City at the end of 2020, so Pep Guardiola must be pleased with his progress.
