Report: Man City tell PL rivals to pay £20m for £16k p/w man who impressed last season

Manchester City midfielder Yangel Herrera has an uncertain future after returning to the Etihad Stadium but not being in Pep Guardiola’s plans for the upcoming season.

The 23-year-old has been a City player since 2017 but hasn’t made a first-team appearance and finds himself behind Fernandinho and Rodri in the pecking order, so it’s likely he’ll be sold before the summer transfer window shuts.

Herrera still has three years left on his deal at the Etihad but may not see them out as The Sun reveal interest from Leeds United and West Ham United.
