Kevin De Bruyne’s existing contract at Manchester City doesn’t expire until 2023, but the Sky Blues are keen to tie him down to a new deal that will likely see him spend the rest of his playing career at the Etihad Stadium.
Fabrizio Romano wrote for CBS Sports that City are ‘still negotiating’ with the 29-year-old over a ‘contract extension’ and both sides are ‘optimistic’ that a deal will get done.

De Bruyne has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and supplying 15 assists.
