Sergio Aguero is leaving Manchester City at the end of the season and Beteve say he’ll agree a ‘substantial reduction’ in wages from £12m-a-year to €5m-a-year (£4.3m-a-year) just to join his ‘friend’ Lionel Messi at Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are in financial difficulty which hasn’t been helped by the loss of revenue due to Covid-19, so they’re having to find cost-effective alternatives to strengthen the squad.

Aguero has made 388 appearances in all competitions since joining City in 2011, scoring 258 goals with 74 assists.
