Real Madrid 'keeping track of Welsh starlet Rabbi Matondo' after winger's impressive performances for Schalke in the Bundesliga

Wales winger Rabbi Matondo has already caught the eye of Zinedine Zidane and is being tracked by scouts from Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain linking the Schalke starlet with a move to the Spanish giants.

Los Blancos see the lightning-quick winger, who has already played four times for his country after moving to Wales as a child but playing for England at youth level, as a player who fits their strategy of signing developing players, according to Diario.

Matondo joined Manchester City from Cardiff for a modest fee in 2016 but was allowed to leave the Premier League champions to join Schalke for around £9 million in 2019, where he has appeared regularly this season and scored one goal.
