The Premier League has set a deadline for players whose contracts are expiring at the end of next month to have their futures sorted by June 23.
A number of top-flight stars, such as Liverpool's Adam Lallana, Manchester City's David Silva and Willian of Chelsea, are all out of contract on June 30 and will be free to negotiate with new clubs if no deal is offered.
But, according to The Athletic, the Premier League is proposing clubs have three options to pick from when it comes to extending the contracts of players in the coming weeks.
