Crystal Palace have reportedly made an approach to sign Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji as Oliver Glasner looks to strengthen his back line before Monday's transfer deadline.
The Eagles are understood to have contacted City to enquire about the Swiss international's availability, although no formal bid has yet been submitted.
According to BBC Sport, the Etihad Stadium outfit would want in the region of £15million for Akanji, who has not featured in either of City's opening two league matches.
The 30-year-old was left out of the squad entirely for Saturday's 2-0 defeat at home to Tottenham after being an unused substitute in the opening-day win at Wolves.
