Phil Foden on Thursday night severed ties with the company managing his Twitter account after unhappiness over a message sent to Kylian Mbappe this week.
Foden was Manchester City’s match-winner against Borussia Dortmund but focus quickly turned to a tweet from his account asking ‘are you ready?’ to the Paris Saint-Germain forward.
The 20-year-old was less than impressed with the post, one that was not deemed to reflect his personality, and the decision was taken on Thursday to part ways with Ten Toes Media.
Foden has almost 500,000 followers on Twitter and has worked with Ten Toes Media for much of his short career.
