Peter Schmeichel goes wild celebrating Andre Onana's last-gasp penalty save in Man United's narrow win over Copenhagen and calls the £47m goalkeeper 'a hero who's too modest'

Peter Schmeichel went wild celebrating Andre Onana's last-gasp penalty save in Man United's 1-0 win over Copenhagen on Tuesday night.

Harry Maguire had given the hosts the lead at Old Trafford with a powerful header, but the Red Devils conceded a stoppage time penalty which threatened to jeopardise the victory.

Onana was able to place himself to make a great save to deny Copenhagen an equaliser, and secure Man United's first Champions League win of the season.

TNT Sports, who broadcast the game in the UK, shared footage on X (fka Twitter) of Schmeichel celebrating the work of the Cameroonian goalkeeper, who was signed in the summer for £47m.
