Pep Guardiola says Man City's rivalry with Liverpool ISN'T toxic 'from our side' after his club accused Jurgen Klopp of 'borderline xenophobia' - and following coin-throwing, bus attacks and Hillsborough graffiti and chants

Pep Guardiola is adamant that Manchester City's rivalry with Liverpool is not toxic - despite coins being thrown, team buses being attacked, offensive graffiti and chanting and Reds boss Jurgen Klopp of being 'borderline xenophobic'.

Guardiola was speaking for the first time since the fraught 1-0 loss at Anfield last week but he totally dismissed that the rivalry had turned toxic, from City's side at least.

'I don't think so. No,' Guardiola said, when asked if animosity had crossed a line.

'From our side I'm pretty sure of that.
