Pep Guardiola has revealed that Manchester City will try their utmost to try and sign Harry Kane but stressed that has admitted that if Tottenham do not want to negotiate then a deal to take the striker to the Etihad Stadium 'is finished'.
Guardiola also ruled out the possibility of being reunited with Lionel Messi at City after the Argentina star's exit from Barcelona.
City are eager to sign Kane, who didn't turn up to Tottenham training this week, with Guardiola admitting that he is 'very interested' in bringing in the England captain.
