Pep Guardiola has revealed that young defender Eric Garcia has decided not to extend his contract with the club.
The highly-rated 19-year-old has been linked with a return to boyhood club Barcelona and is believed to be keen on the move despite his breakthrough into City's first team this season.
Guardiola said: 'He announced to us that he doesn't want to extend his contract with Manchester City.
'He has one more year and after that, he doesn't want to extend. We want it but he doesn't want to, so I imagine he wants to play in another place.
