Pep Guardiola insists he wants to 'stay longer' at Manchester City, despite Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font admitting he would like to bring manager back to the Nou Camp to work with Lionel Messi if he is elected

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said he would like to 'stay longer' at the club, despite Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font claiming he would want to bring him back to the Nou Camp if he is elected.

The City boss is in the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium and speculation over his future is likely to increase as the season goes on.

Font, thought to be the leading candidate to be the next Barcelona president following the resignation of Josep Bartomeu, has expressed a desire to take Guardiola back to the Nou Camp.
