Pep Guardiola has suggested Manchester City could break their spending habits to splurge over £100m on a player as speculation over a move for Erling Haaland continues.
The Premier League leaders have been linked, like many of the biggest club's in Europe, with a move for Borussia Dortmund striker in the summer, though City's manager had previously been reluctant to address the rumours and has stated his belief that the club would not be able to afford the £154m man.
However, speaking ahead of the first leg of his side's quarter-final Champions League tie with Dortmund on Tuesday, Guardiola hinted that the club could be willing to spend huge on a player if they felt he would improve the team.
