Phil Foden underlined his return to form with a spectacular solo goal after getting a pep talk from Pep Guardiola.
The Manchester City manager urged his 22-year-old talent to relax after suffering the first dip of his career.
And on Saturday the gifted midfielder, now back as a starting player, took his goal tally to four in three games after scoring the opener in a 2-0 win against Newcastle by dribbling past four opponents.
'Phil has a special ability but he needs the confidence to do it,' explained Guardiola.
'He's been with us since 17-years-old getting better and better but there is always moment you go down and you have to accept it, not blaming anyone else.
