Pep Guardiola has praised Phil Foden for his performance against Liverpool, but insists there is still areas of his game he can 'improve'.
Foden was awarded man of the match after he provided Manchester City with an assist and a goal to end their 18-year wait for a league victory at Anfield.
Guardiola praised Foden for unleashing a rocket that shot past Alisson to close the game out at 4-1, but insisted that he must refrain from getting 'distracted' on the pitch.

Speaking after the game Guardiola said that Foden - who was playing out of position as a false nine - must work on his positioning in order to reach his potential.
