Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola hailed the youth in his squad and promised there is so much more to come from his Premier League champions.
Leroy Sane, 22, and Gabriel Jesus, 21, were two of City’s standout players this season and Guardiola pointed to the squad’s youth as a massive factor for next season.
‘OK, (29-year-old) Sergio Aguero is a genius, a top player,’ said Guardiola. ‘But the other guys are 20, 21 years old, so we won with guys so young.
‘Playing in the Champions League at that age, sometimes it is complicated.
