Patrice Evra has revealed the reason behind his on-pitch confrontation with Manchester City staff after the Citizens' Champions League semi-final win over Real Madrid on Wednesday.
Pep Guardiola's City saw off the record winners with a thrilling 4-0 win at the Etihad to go through to the final - where they will face Inter on June 3 - which prompted unsurprisingly exuberant celebrations from the home bench.
However, Manchester United legend Evra was seen in a row with a member of the City backroom staff after the final whistle, with the confrontation eventually diffused by Guardiola's assistant Manel Estiarte.
