Ole Gunnar Solskjaer concedes that Manchester United are NOT at Liverpool's level - despite finishing above Jurgen Klopp's side last season - as Red Devils boss calls on his side to 'improve' ahead of crunch clash

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Manchester United are still not at Liverpool’s level – even though they finished ahead of their great rivals in the Premier League last season.

The two great north-west clubs meet at Old Trafford on Sunday with United manager Solsjkaer under pressure.

United were second to champions Manchester City last season with Liverpool finish fourth.

But speaking at lunchtime today Solskjaer said: ‘Liverpool are one of the teams we are trying to catch up on, even though last season we were ahead of them maybe because of bad luck with injuries.
