Nolito says he was attracted to Manchester City by Pep Guardiola and didn't mind being on bench before two-goal heroics at Stoke

Manchester City's Spanish recruit Nolito says the pulling power of Pep Guardiola did much to attract him to the Etihad Stadium.

And despite longing to see the sun to break through the Manchester clouds a little more, the former Celta Vigo player says he is relishing being a key part of his new team.

Nolito emerged from the bench to strike twice in City's 4-1 victory at Stoke on Saturday, three days after scoring in his side's Champions League play-off romp at Steaua Bucharest.
