Manchester City versus Liverpool clashes always carry that weight of importance even at an early stage of a Premier League season.

The two title favourites meet at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon and it already feels like a 'must win', or at least a 'must not lose', for Pep Guardiola's side.

Stuck down in 10th after an up and down start to the season, City are already glancing upwards to see reigning champions Liverpool top of the tree.
