Micah Richards believes Manchester City starlet Phil Foden has earned his recall to the England senior set-up.

The 20-year-old was named in Gareth Southgate's latest squad for this month's international fixtures - and returned to the fold after inviting girls back to the Three Lions' hotel in Iceland, alongside Mason Greenwood.

Southgate deemed that Foden's form for his club has merited a spot in his 29-strong group, a sentiment which Sky Sports pundit and Sportsmail columnist Richards has thrown his full backing behind.
