Mesut Ozil is determined to see out his contract at Arsenal despite the club wanting to offload him this summer, according to reports.
The midfielder was left out of Mikel Arteta's 20-man squad for Wednesday's 3-0 defeat to Manchester City, despite starting the previous 10 league fixtures under the Gunners' manager.
ESPN report that Arsenal want rid of the German international for financial reasons with the club looking to overhaul their squad on a restricted transfer budget.

The 31-year-old, who is contracted until 2021, earns in the region of £350,000-a-week and getting him off the books would free up some much needed funds.
