Manchester City's new kit harks back to 1968 league title winners

Manchester City have their launched their new home kit for the 2017-18 season, which is inspired by the strip they wore when they won the league title 50 years ago.

City have returned to their classic colours of sky blue shirt, white socks and sky blue socks after their daring modern design in Pep Guardiola's first season which divided opinion.

Next season's new kit includes socks with a maroon stripe as worn by the likes of Colin Bell, Mike Summerbee and Francis Lee in the 1968 title triumph.
