Manchester City do not know the extent of Vincent Kompany’s latest injury scare as their captain heads for further testing.
Kompany’s first appearance under Pep Guardiola was cut short during Wednesday night’s 2-1 EFL Cup win at Swansea City.
The 30-year-old came off late on at the Liberty Stadium and spent Thursday with club doctors attempting to identify the knock.
It was found Kompany has sustained muscle fatigue to the groin, adding to his long list of fitness problems.
