Benjamin Mendy has given supporters a gruesome insight into the seriousness of the knee injury that has derailed his first season in England.
Mendy joined Manchester City from Monaco over the summer and impressed in the early months of the season following his £52million move.
But the defender faces a battle to play again this season after he ruptured the cruciate ligament in his right knee.
Mendy suffered the injury against Crystal Palace last month and recently underwent surgery in Spain.
