Manchester City should make Pep Guardiola the first £1million-a-week manager in the world to prevent him being tempted away by a cash-rich rival, according to Tony Cascarino.
City have blown the competition away under Pep this season, they already have an 11-point lead at the top of the Premier League having dropped just two points in 16 games.
Cascarino, the former Celtic, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Marseille striker, believes City should hand Pep a deal that secures his long-term future at the Etihad - and would be more productive than forking out huge sums on new players, such as Alexis Sanchez.
