Manchester City 'on brink of signing Fluminense starlet Kayky in deal which could rise to £15m'... after fending off Liverpool and Spanish clubs for the signature of 17-year-old who has won comparisons to Neymar

Manchester City are close to wrapping up a deal for the future by signing Fluminense's Brazilian starlet Kayky.

The English giants have been keeping a close eye on the teenager for quite some time, and it appears they are finally getting their man.

Sportsmail reported at the end of last month that City were in talks with Fluminense to sign both teenagers Kayky and Metinho - with the Brazilian club holding out for more than the £15million package that was on the table.

Kayky has attracted interest from across Europe but Man City look to have won the race

City’s initial offer for Kayky was around £10m, while Metinho, a midfielder, was valued at £5m in the double transfer.
