Eliaquim Mangala has hit back at claims he was a flop at Manchester City.
The France international moved to the Etihad from Porto in August 2014 for £42m, but he was loaned out to Valencia this summer.
His move to the La Liga outfit has led many to label the 25-year-old a failure during his two years with City, and the centre-back has admitted new manager Pep Guardiola was happy to let him go.
Mangala, however, remains adamant he was not a failure during his time in the Premier League – and that the stats prove as much.
