Manchester City FC news: Ederson Moraes sets Guinness World Record for longest kick

Pep Guardiola’s side have stormed to the Premier League title and, although they didn’t wrap the league up in the quickest time, they have scored a record 104 goals to get there.

They have their eyes set firmly on more records, but only victory against Southampton on Sunday will take City to the 100-point mark.

It would also earn them the highest total of away wins and away points, plus the best-ever goal difference.

One man who is not used to setting records however is goalkeeper Ederson.

The Brazil international, who missed out on the Golden Glove award to rival David De Gea, is renowned more for his footballing skills than his shot-stopping ability.
