Oleksandr Zinchenko is set to feature in City's FA Cup fifth-round tie at Championship strugglers Peterborough on Tuesday, Pep Guardiola has said.
Ukraine international Zinchenko was visibly moved by the displays of solidarity shown with his homeland, following Russia's invasion of the country, during Saturday's Premier League game at Everton.
Guardiola said: 'Absolutely, I think it will be good for him to play and show the reason why he is here, to play football.'
Zinchenko and compatriot Vitaliy Mykolenko shared an emotional moment prior to Saturday's clash between Man City and Everton as the pair hugged despite being on opposite teams.
