Manchester City are planning a first break away from England in three years by heading to America over the summer.
Sportsmail understands City are currently finalising a pre-season trip to the States in July, with the jaunt scheduled to last around a week.
Traditional tours were scrapped during the height of the pandemic and City having not trained away from their home since going to Asia in 2019.
Pep Guardiola opted to remain in Manchester last summer, playing three friendlies against Championship opposition at the club’s Academy Stadium, while other teams travelled abroad in Europe.
