Man City’s 6ft 2in defender being monitored by Arsenal, player is valued at £22.5m

According to Eurosport, Arsenal are still monitoring the progress of John Stones at Manchester City and could make a move when the winter transfer window opens.

The £22.5m-rated 26-year-old has an uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium after struggling for form while falling down the pecking order, but it remains to be seen if he’ll be sold in January as he’s turning his career around in Manchester.

Stones has made 139 appearances in all competitions since joining City from Everton in 2016, scoring five goals with two assists, but playing time has been hard to come by this season.
