Manchester City suffered a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening and Riyad Mahrez was one of many players who underperformed in North London.
The 29-year-old struggled to make an impact out wide and was eventually hooked in the 72nd minute by Pep Guardiola. Raheem Sterling replaced him and may be in line to take his spot after recovering from injury.
Against Tottenham, Mahrez had 59 touches, completed 89.2% of his 37 passes, created three chances, had one shot which hit the target, whipped in seven crosses with 28.
