Man City 'set to rival Liverpool for £45m-rated full-back' - as Pep Guardiola tries to disrupt Arne Slot's transfer masterplan

Manchester City are reportedly trying to sign one of Liverpool's transfer targets from under their noses.

Pep Guardiola's side have enquired over Bournemouth's £45million-rated left-back Milos Kerkez and should be considered as genuine rivals for his signature, as per The i Paper.

Liverpool have not yet submitted a formal offer for the 21-year-old but have reportedly been talking to his camp for weeks.

Slot is attempting a £65m revamp of his backline with the addition of Jeremie Frimpong - a move onset by the impending loss of Trent Alexander-Arnold - and Kerkez.
