Man City player should start v Leicester after impressing during international break [opinion]

Manchester City travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City on Saturday afternoon and Manchester Evening News say they’re expected to continue with Ferran Torres up front.

The 21-year-old has been used as a makeshift striker after Sergio Aguero was released on a free transfer, scoring two goals and making one assist in three Premier League games, so there’s no reason why he won’t continue.

Torres’ form on the international stage certainly vindicates Guardiola’s decision too. The Spaniard had a hand in three goals during the 2020 European Championships and recently scored in their World Cup qualifier with Georgia.
