Man City player ‘has been offered’ to club, is a ‘short-term fix’ due to financial crisis

Sergio Aguero’s future is up in the air at Manchester City as his contract ends in July and he’s yet to put pen to paper on an extension that’s been on the table for weeks.

The 32-year-old has been open to a move to Spain or Argentina and ESPN say he ‘has been offered’ to Barcelona. The Catalan giants are in financial difficulty so they’re targeting Aguero as he’ll soon be available on a free transfer.

Barcelona want a new forward to compete with Martin Braithwaite this summer and ESPN note that they’ve shown an interest in Alexander Isak, Memphis Depay, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
