David Silva picked up an injury in Manchester City’s 2-0 win over West Ham United, not long after a robust challenge from Angelo Ogbonna in the penalty area, but Pep Guardiola is hopeful that it’s nothing serious.
The 34-year-old limped off late in the second half of Wednesday’s victory with what Injury Mechanisms believes may be a hamstring injury. He will be seen by club doctors on Thursday.
Guardiola told the club’s official website: “He told me that he felt something. But I don’t think it was a big issue.
