Manchester City are set to reward No 1 goalkeeper Ederson with a new three-year contract, according to reports.
Ederson has been a revelation for City since signing from Benfica in 2017, becoming a key component for Pep Guardiola and his tactics of playing out from the back.
After an impressive first season at the Etihad Stadium, Ederson was already handed a new seven-year contract until 2025 in May 2018, but now City want to extend his stay even further - according to The Athletic.

The report claims that fresh talks are planned between the Premier League champions and the Brazilian, with it being expected that he will agree terms to keep him at the club until 2028.
