Pep Guardiola has admitted Manchester City are fortunate to have Rico Lewis after the teenage full-back impressed in their 3-2 victory over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup last-16.
The 18-year-old was handed a start at right back for the high-profile clash, with Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo absent after featuring for their nations at the World Cup in Qatar.
Guardiola singled Lewis out for praise following the victory at the Etihad Stadium, admitting that the Premier League champions are lucky to have the young talent at the club.

'First half the academy boys played really well,' Guardiola told Sky Sports.
