Gary Neville believes both Manchester City and Liverpool are 'weaker' this season after the title rivals played out a thrilling 1-1 draw at the Etihad on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp's teams have been battling at the top of the Premier League for the past two seasons with City edging the Reds in 2018-19 before Liverpool ended their 30-year wait for a league title earlier this year.
But Neville, speaking after he commentated on Sunday's match, believes both are not currently at the same level as they have been in previous years.
