Lionel Messi admits he feels 'lucky' to have worked with 'special' Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique as he picks out former Barcelona bosses as the best managers he has worked with

Barcelona legend Lionel Messi has described former bosses Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique as the two best coaches he has worked with during his glittering career at the Camp Nou.

Messi won the Champions League twice and a hat-trick of LaLiga titles under Manchester City boss Guardiola between 2008 and 2012.

The club's all-time top scorer then went on to win the domestic crown twice and the Champions League once more with Luis Enrique, who coached Barca from 2014 until 2017 and is now Spain manager.

Speaking to LaSexta, City transfer target Messi admitted: 'Pep has something special.
