Leonardo Jardim insists Monaco deserved their Champions League win over Manchester City: 'We didn't let them touch the ball in that first half'

Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim believes his side deserve their place in the Champions League quarter-finals, insisting that Manchester City were lucky in the first leg at the Etihad.

Monaco lost that game 5-3 but recovered at the Stade Louis II on Wednesday night to win 3-1 and go through on away goals.

Jardim said: 'We didn't let them touch the ball in that first half. It was harder in that second half, and we didn't have the players on the bench to help.
