But his absence will have raised eyebrows ahead of Tuesday's clash, with Los Blancos set for a bumper run of fixtures across all competitions.
Following Tuesday's LaLiga trip, they will face Osasuna in the Copa Del Rey Final on Saturday, having beaten Barcelona in the semi-finals, before taking on Manchester City in the last-four of the Champions League on Tuesday.
