Jurgen Klopp admits Liverpool could be busy in the January transfer window after Jamie Carragher said they needed £250m investment to close the gap on Man City - with Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota both long-term injury absences

Jurgen Klopp has admitted he'd like Liverpool to be busy in the January transfer window following calls from former player Jamie Carragher that the club need a £250million investment to close the gap on Manchester City.

While refusing to comment on how much the club would ideally spend, Klopp didn't hide the fact that he'd enjoy seeing new arrivals particularly with key forwards Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz injured.

Current owner John W Henry has publicly acknowledged the club is open to new investors or even an outright sale.
