Manchester Evening News journalist Stuart Brennan has hinted that UEFA’s latest plans to resume the Champions League amid the current global pandemic could hugely benefit the Sky Blues – with potential action being to resume European competition when the domestic leagues have been completed.
This comes after the governing body signed a letter last week claiming that cancelling their competitions is a last resort, going on to state that they are focusing on a restart in July and August even if they have to wait for domestic campaigns to reach their conclusion first.
