Jose Mourinho insists he is ready to get straight back to work following his dismissal by Tottenham.

The Portuguese manager was sacked by Spurs on Monday following dismal form at home and in Europe this season.

Mourinho was relieved of his duties just six days before Tottenham meet Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final and the 58-year-old refused to discuss his departure but said he did not need a break from football.
